“Seven weeks in, I’m really enjoying it. I’m loving the meals, I’ve bought some equipment for home and signed up for a football tournament. I’m happy to take my T-shirt off in front of other people, which I never thought I would be, and I genuinely feel I’m moving in the right direction.”

“Lowest weight in over 10 years. My body confidence has returned, and I even managed some shameless topless sunbathing this week.”

“My clothes are feeling looser. I tried on clothes for a wedding and some actually fit when I wasn’t expecting them to.”
“Friends and family have noticed my weight loss. I’m stepping up my workout routine, going to the gym more often and feeling challenged in a positive way.”
About Mark
I started training because sitting at a desk all day had wrecked my back. It helped far more than that. It changed how I felt physically, how I handled life and eventually what I wanted to do for a living.
Now I coach people who often feel that the fitness industry was not built with them in mind. Too new, too self-conscious, too queer, too busy or simply fed up with being made to feel they should already know everything.
I still get coached myself. It keeps me honest about how difficult the process can be and how valuable the right support is.
Why work with Mark
From the first conversation through to your check-ins and feedback, your coaching stays personal.
Mark works with a coach himself, keeping him close to the reality of being accountable to someone else.
Proud Scotland Awards finalist.
